She's such a nice critter; I don't understand the thrift store getting rid of her. I always look for large plush at the Salvation Army shop but they don't seem to have any.

My last 'new' purchase came though with a damaged eye. I noticed it, yes, but I wasn't going to send him back to their shredders over the marks. It gives him a little character. It may be that I notice it more, too, because I'm attracted to the eyes when looking over plush. :o)

It's Really All About $$$$ :( .She Is A Really Large Plush As She's 3 Foot Long By About 30 Inches High Which Means That She Would Have Taken A Lot Of Space On The "Shelf" (Why "Display" One Large Plush When You Could Put Out Ten Smaller Ones). #2 She Was Styro Stuffed And Had Some Small Holes/Stains(Which I Didn't Take Pics Of)(And The "Thrifts" Are So Paranoid Over Potential Lawsuits Because Of The Obvious Age Of The Plush/The CPSIA Lead Laws). And Most Of What "Thrifts" Even Bother To Sort Through Is Done By Volunteers And As Most Of Them Don't Think Of Plush As Anything More Than Toys They Don't Realize How Special That Certain Plush Can Be To The Right Person.I'm Just So Glad That She Was Saved In The Nick Of Time.

I'm The Same Way As You In That The Eyes Are What Attract Me Too And Like You I Would Never "Reject" A Plushie I Liked Just Because Of A Lil Damage To The Eye (Especially Since I Could Probably Replace The Eyes If They Were Badly Enough Damaged To Need It)
